Turin DF64 Gen 2.7 Single-Dose Espresso Grinder

The Turin DF64 Gen 2.7 is a 64mm flat-burr single-dose coffee grinder designed for espresso and filter coffee. Its stepless adjustment provides precise control when dialing in espresso, while its broad grind range also accommodates pour-over, drip, AeroPress, French press and cold brew.

A plasma anti-static system and bellows help reduce mess and retained grounds. The 64mm burr platform supports Turin, SSP and other compatible aftermarket burrs, allowing users to customize the grinder’s flavor profile and performance. The latest Gen 2.7 version includes an updated convex anti-popcorn blocker for smoother bean feeding.

This is the 110–120V US model. One year of warranty coverage is included from Turin. The optional $39 extended warranty adds one year, providing two years of total coverage. See Turin's warranty terms for coverage and exclusions.

Which DF64 Burrs Should I Choose?

Not sure which burrs to choose? Start with the included Turin stainless-steel burrs for espresso and filter coffee; an upgrade is optional. Turin Red Titanium and SSP burrs with Red Speed coating are separate products. If you choose SSP replacement burrs, they are supplied separately and are not installed or aligned before shipping. Precise stepless adjustment

The stepless adjustment system provides an effectively unlimited number of settings between coarse and fine. This allows small grind-size changes when dialing in espresso while still providing the range needed for pour-over, drip coffee, AeroPress, French press and cold brew.

Low-retention single-dose workflow

The DF64 Gen 2.7 is designed to minimize the amount of ground coffee left inside the grinding chamber and chute. Its bellows help clear retained grounds after each dose, reducing waste and limiting the amount of older coffee carried into the next grind.

Plasma anti-static system

A plasma generator in the exit chute reduces static electricity and helps keep coffee grounds from clinging to the chute and dosing cup. This produces a cleaner workflow and generally eliminates the need for RDT under normal conditions.

The grinder’s metal body, simple controls and 250W AC motor are designed for dependable daily use. Its straightforward construction also avoids unnecessary electronic controls that could create additional points of failure.
