The ideal candidate is not required to have prior barista experience but is committed to an in-depth and detailed training program. All team members start at the basics, regardless of industry experience or skill level.

What you'll do:
- Prepare hot and cold drinks to exacting standards, maintaining a high level of execution in line with Second State standards
- Learn about coffee origin, processing, brewing, and our producing partners
- Maintain a spotless and organized working space and consumer space
- Demonstrate Second State Coffee values, culture, and behaviors
Compensation
- Base rate: $8/hr + tips
- Guaranteed minimum pay: $18/hr

As a general practice, we seek out long-term team members who will be with us a minimum of 3 months and minimum of 15 hours per week. For someone with amazing social skills and an eagerness to learn, we make exceptions!
